How many years have you been in the field: Over 22 years
How do you feel like Versa’s Advanced Department differentiates themselves?: I understand we work in a field with many other competitors that may or may not provide the same service lines we do. The difference with us is we strive for excellence. Whether it’s taking time to realize mistakes and improve, or looking at our capabilities and figuring out how we can expand on them, we truly want to be better.

What is something you look forward to as the new Advanced Director?: Expanding into new markets and continued development of value-based solutions to all of our customers. I also look forward to building up our team to provide the best quality; creating a new standard for excellence in the industry.
What does it take to be a good leader?: Not leading by telling people what to do, setting the example and working along-side them to create a better growth centered culture. The success of the department is created by those working within and it’s my job to ensure they have the right tools, knowledge, and support needed for success.
What is something you would say to someone just starting in Advanced Services?: One of the biggest things is to understand “why” you are doing what you do. It’s easy to know “what” to do. I could teach someone in 10 minutes what to do, but without the why, its hard to really care about the inspection, and the data that comes with it.
